Because I have no willpower, I haven't been able to completely give up dairy. I am drinking almond milk instead of regular milk and I haven't had any yogurt or cheese. But I have had a few bites of ice cream and some cheesecake. And Luke has handled it fairly well. So now I'm trying this thing where I limit my dairy significantly, but don't freak out if I happen to have some cream sauce or cookies with butter in it. As long as Luke is doing okay, then I'm eating some dairy.
And because these are adorable and in response to something besides gastrointestinal comfort (i.e. being played with):
Cute smiles! It's so rewarding when a baby FINALLY starts giving something back! Glad you can eat a little dairy. I've had a friend who gave up dairy entirely and then HER system struggled when she tried to start it up again. I don't know that that would happen to you. So, for both the reasons of that and happiness, I'm glad you don't have to give it up entirely!
