Luke Being Cute

Quite frankly, our lives these day are fairly humdrum. Jason is busy with school and I'm busy with work and Luke. We don't get out to do as many fun things as we used to, just because we're trying to juggle everything and we spend most of our weekends preparing for the next week instead of playing. I guess this means we're adults. Bummer.

I'm putting together a Christmas present from Grandma Peterson here. We initially had to return it because we didn't have enough room on our flight after Christmas to bring it with us. Last month, we finally found the same thing for a similar price here in Chicago, so I'm assembling it for Luke. It's a cute Little People airport set. He just chews on everything.

He's discovering that there are holes in his nose.

Snuggling with Mom

He shows his love by climbing on top of me.

Finally playing with the new toy.

During spring break, Jason took Luke to a nature museum. I just love Luke's face here.

He loves animals. Even stuffed ugly ones.

I think he's looking at a waterfall here. He loves water. When we went to Disney World last month, he got most excited about the waterfall that we saw in Animal Kingdom. Lions? Tigers? Hippos? Nope. The waterfall.

He's an active kid. You can just see the vigor in his movements here.

Exploring our Easter bowl.
