I recently moved. There wasn't anything wrong with my old house per se, but let's just say that it is a lot harder to feel comfortable in a home when you rent from the person who owns it. My roommate and I found a condo just down the street that is wonderful! We finished moving in last week. It's a bunch of condos facing inward on a tiled courtyard. The condos/courtyard are built on the 2nd level of retail space, so yes, I'm serious when I say I live above Jamba Juice. That won't be bad for me at all. Also, there is a Nordstrom Rack about 100 feet away from me. Also, not bad for me. And an IKEA across the street, from which I purchased my first couch (how adult of me). My new condo is fantastic. I have my own bathroom for the first time since I lived at home. I think I need to have all sorts of visitors so that they can see how fantastic my new place is.
Also, I hate living without internet. I finally got it hooked up after over a week of living without it. I don't have a router yet, so I have to plug into the wall, but it is so liberating to be able to check my email at home again.
Last weekend I went up to Folsom for Easter/General Conference. My parents were there all week, so I got to see them for about a day. In addition to sleeping through most of General Conference (oops), I talked to family, ate good food, colored Easter eggs, and watched my nieces and nephews hunt for Easter eggs. A friend of mine came too and it was great to hang with both my family and my friend.
Congratulations on the new condo! Sounds like a great place.
