Disney World

So I was gently chastized earlier today for not writing about my vacation to Disney World yet. The *reason* is because I don't have most of my pictures yet. I do have access to Kathrine's Picasa album, but other than that, I don't have that many pictures yet. Of course, I didn't take any pictures. My Disney PhotoPass CD is still in the mail. And Mom and Dad are in Utah, so I haven't gotten their pictures yet. So I copied images from Kathrine's Picasa album to give you a sampling of my vacation.

We were going to go somewhere exotic, but we ended up going to Disney World instead because my passport expired 6 months ago. Oops. I have reapplied and am eagerly waiting a new passport as an early Christmas present so that the next time I want to go on a foreign spur-of-the-moment-vacation, I can.

On to Disney World. I had so.much.fun. Despite threats of natural disasters, it only really rained one night. It was a fantastic time of year to go, because it wasn't too hot and the Thanksgiving/Christmas crowds hadn't arrived yet. Plus, all the Christmas decorations were up and the Christmas celebrations were starting.

We were pampered with 20 minute lines. I loved the roller coasters and Mission: Space (a ride that actually has barf bags on it) and the shows and the fireworks and the food (we ate at a different restaurant every day) and everything was just great! All in all, we had a fantastic trip!
