Master Part 2 (sort of)

Jason graduated! Well, he put on the fancy cap and gown and walked in a processional and got an empty leather folder. He is in the middle of his second master's degree at Northwestern, which only has a processional once a year. But Jason doesn't finish classes until August. Since we're almost positive we won't be back in Chicago next year, he walked in this graduation. It was a bit anticlimactic because he went back to school the next Tuesday, but we got the pomp part over with, right? I was proud of him...but I'll be even more proud at the end of August when he's finally done.

At his DePaul graduation last year, he thought he looked like a big blueberry in his blue robe. This time, the robe was purple, and he said that he looked like a big grape.

His parents and sisters came into town. We had a packed house, but it was so fun to see everyone!
