A few years ago, my sister Suzy found this awesome 12-place setting of Christmas china (featuring the 12 Days of Christmas...appropriate). She ended up getting several sets of it and then that was pretty much my Christmas and birthday for the next 4 years from most of my family.
After 10 years or so of sitting nice and safe in its bubble wrap, I finally brought it out. My roommates and I hosted a Christmas dinner for some friends of ours (12 friends, in fact). And I got to use my Christmas china!
We had another table with the rest of the place settings.
